What areas do you serve?

We serve the entire Santa Clarita Valley including Santa Clarita, Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, Castaic, Newhall, Saugus, and Canyon Country. We also travel into the San Fernando Valley and select Los Angeles neighborhoods. A travel fee may apply for locations outside our primary service area.

Is airbrush spray tanning different from a spray booth?

Yes — significantly. A spray booth is automated and applies a one-size-fits-all solution. Airbrush tanning is done by hand by a trained artist who custom-blends your solution on-site and applies it with precision. The result is a more natural, even, streak-free tan tailored to your exact skin tone.

Is spray tanning safe?

Yes. The active ingredient in spray tan solution is DHA (dihydroxyacetone), a colorless sugar that reacts with the amino acids in the top layer of your skin to create a tan color. DHA is FDA-approved for external use and has been used in self-tanning products for decades. We recommend avoiding inhalation during application, which is why we provide nose filters and lip balm.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book directly through our website using the booking form. Select your service, preferred date and time, and your location. We'll confirm your appointment within 24 hours. For group bookings or special events, we recommend reaching out at least 1–2 weeks in advance.

How much does a spray tan cost?

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. No-shows are charged the full service amount.

We accept credit and debit cards, Zelle, and Venmo. Payment is collected at the time of your appointment.

How should I prepare for my spray tan?

For best results: exfoliate thoroughly 24 hours before your appointment, shave or wax at least 24 hours prior, and arrive with clean, dry skin — no lotions, oils, perfume, or deodorant. Wear or bring loose, dark clothing to change into after your tan.

We recommend shaving at least 24 hours before your appointment. Shaving right before can open pores and cause the solution to absorb unevenly, leading to a dotted appearance. If you must shave day-of, do it at least 4–6 hours before.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear whatever you're comfortable tanning in — most clients wear a swimsuit, underwear, or go nude. After your tan, wear loose, dark, breathable clothing. Tight clothing can rub off the solution before it fully develops.

How much space do you need to set up?

We need a clear area of approximately 6x6 feet with decent ventilation — a bathroom, bedroom, or living room all work great. We bring a pop-up tent to contain any overspray, so your space stays clean.

For a Classic Tan, wait 8–12 hours (or overnight) before your first shower. For a Rapid Tan, you can shower in as little as 2–4 hours depending on your desired depth. We'll give you specific timing instructions at your appointment.

Moisturize daily — this is the single most important thing you can do. Use a gentle, sulfate-free body wash. Avoid long soaks in pools, hot tubs, or baths. Pat dry after showering instead of rubbing. A tan-extending lotion can also help maintain your color.

A spray tan typically lasts 7–10 days with proper care. Factors like skin type, how well you moisturize, and activities like swimming or heavy sweating can affect longevity. Regular exfoliation before your next tan will help it fade evenly.

Not with Boujee Tan. We use premium, cosmetic-grade solutions that are formulated to develop into natural, warm bronze tones — not orange. We also custom-blend your solution based on your skin tone and desired depth, so the result always looks like a real sun tan.

Can I work out after my spray tan?

We recommend avoiding heavy sweating for at least 8 hours after your tan. Sweat can cause the solution to streak or develop unevenly before it's fully set. After that, you're good to go — just rinse off after workouts and moisturize.

When should I get my bridal tan?

We recommend getting your final bridal tan the night before your wedding so you wake up with a fresh, fully developed glow. We also strongly recommend a trial tan 2–3 weeks before the wedding to test your color and make any adjustments.

Absolutely — that's one of our specialties. We offer group rates for wedding parties and can tan everyone at your home, bridal suite, or venue. Book early as bridal dates fill up fast, especially in spring and summer.
