Spray Tan Results Policy

Why Results Vary

Every Boujee Tan client receives the same professional-grade solution, the same application technique, and the same attention to detail. Still, no two bodies take a tan the same way. A spray tan develops in the outermost layer of your skin, so its depth, evenness, and lifespan depend on many factors:

  • Skin type and condition: Dry, dehydrated, or thicker skin absorbs and holds color differently. Legs, knees, elbows, hands, and feet often develop lighter or fade faster for this reason.
  • Hormones, medications, and health: Hormonal changes, some medications, skincare actives (like retinol, AHAs/BHAs, and acne treatments), and medical treatments can change how skin reacts to tanning solution.
  • Nutrition and hydration: Water intake and diet affect your skin's moisture and pH, which can affect development.
  • Preparation: Lotions, oils, deodorant, perfume, or makeup left on the skin form a barrier that can block or streak the tan. Shaving or waxing right before your session can also cause uneven results.
  • Aftercare: Rinsing too early, sweating, swimming, hot showers, tight clothing, and oil-based products can lift color before it fully develops or shorten its life.
  • Environment: Cold or humid weather, air conditioning, and heat can all change how skin dries and develops.

For the best results, please review our Pre-Tan Care and Aftercare pages before every appointment.

Our Results Policy

We stand behind our product and our technique. Because so many factors that affect results happen outside our session, we can't guarantee identical color, evenness, or longevity for every client or every area of the body. We do not offer touch-ups, re-sprays, or refunds based on individual results. Following our pre-tan and aftercare instructions is the best way to get a beautiful, long-lasting glow.

By booking a Boujee Tan service, you acknowledge that individual results vary based on the factors above.
